I. PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

A. Processing of personal data when using the contact form

If you contact us regarding our products and services, we will process your contact details that you provide to us, mainly through the contact form. Personal data means any information about an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier (such as a name, identification number, location data, network identifier) or by one or more specific elements of physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity of this natural person (Article 4 (1) of the GDPR). Personal data includes, for example, your name, phone number, address, and any status data you provide during your registration. Statistical or anonymized data obtained, for example, when visiting our website, which cannot be linked to your person, is not considered personal data.

Why?

Based on the personal data you send, we will subsequently contact you regarding our offer of goods and services.

On what legal basis?

This is processing based on Article 6 (1) (b) of the GDPR – performance of a contract or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

If you do not provide us with this personal information, we will not be able to communicate with you for the purpose of entering into a contract for the supply of our goods or the provision of our services.

How long will we process personal data?

We keep personal data for a period determined by applicable laws (e.g., accounting law and others).

B. Processing of Personal Data in Case of Purchase

If you make a purchase from us, we will process personal data required to conclude a contract for the provision of our goods or services. These mainly include billing details: name, surname, address, and phone number.

Why?

We need to process personal data to fulfill our obligations arising from the contract—delivery of goods or provision of services. We will also use your contact details to communicate with you regarding the status of your order, potential complaints, or any questions you may have.

We will further process personal data to fulfill our obligations under generally binding legal regulations (especially for accounting and tax purposes or to handle complaints and other matters).

On what legal basis do we process personal data?

This processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – fulfillment of a contract, and Article 6(1)(c) GDPR – fulfillment of our legal obligation.

If you do not provide us with this personal data, we will not be able to conclude a contract with you for the supply of our goods or the provision of our services.

C. Newsletter (commercial communication)

If you have purchased goods or services from us and have not expressly refused to receive marketing notifications, we will use your email address to send our marketing notifications.

If you no longer wish to receive our marketing notifications, you can unsubscribe at any time via email or contact us at email: info@elektrorepas.sk.

On what legal basis?

This is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – our legitimate interests, which include targeted marketing communication to our customers.
